"Sun Flower Moon" Poster Print

$17.00

This painting was inspired by a poem though people are unsure of who actually wrote it. It goes

"tell me the story of how the sun loved the moon so much,
he died every night to let her breathe" - unknown.

When Kyle first came across this poem. It inspired him to take the poem further and create this piece with the character focusing on a sunflower. The sunflower embodies both the moon and the sun when they are together. The moon being the center of the flower and the sun being the yellow petals. The sunflower is a moment that has passed. The character ignores the world and stares deeply at the flower as the days pass and the moon and sun chase each other. A look into the past while missing the beauty of the world around. Whether you choose to look at the sunflower or past negatively or positively is up to you. We all have our moments or sunflowers we look back on. What is yours?
